Found this on Pinterest and I love it. I love when I have options for working out but when I get in the gym I can’t remember my game plan. This little list is so helpful.

Food for thought

Isn’t that the truth. We always plan out in our head exactly how something should look or how an event should go. When it doesn’t turn out that way we tend to feel disappointed. Unfortunately it’s hard to not picture life ahead of time, but we need to remember to be happy with the results. Life is life, we do not have the option to control other people or other events. We only have the option to control how we react in situations. If we can take a deep breath when things don’t go as planned and continue on, we can keep happy.

Simple life habits

We all fall victim to those days where we just fall behind on life. There’s more days than I’d like to admit that I feel this way. Sure we know if we get up early and exercise we will feel better, but 10 more minutes of sleep sounds better. Well I stumbled on this article and yes, I know, we all know these ten tips but the way they lay it out it helps you remember how to live simply again. It lists ten ways to change your habits positively. Simple and efficient!

1.2.3. Delicious

So I have been on a simple dinner kick lately. I of course browsed through Pinterest and found this delightful eggplant Parmesan recipe! It’s fantastic! Seriously you cut up your eggplant about 1/2 inch thick, season it with olive oil and herbs, bake it at 400 for 20 minutes flipping it half way through. Then coat it with your favorite pasta sauce and cheese and bake it again for about 10 minutes. It’s simple, light, and yum! here’s where I found it and cmon look at that picture! 😎

It’s the little things

One of of my favorite quotes. Life is hectic, but we need to remember to step back and appreciate the little stuff in life. The way we see things, is the way people see us.  If we start to see happiness in the smallest of things, the more peaceful we will feel overall. I woke up today and it was one of those cold overcast mornings. I go outside to put a letter in the mail and a cold gust of wind blows, I slip, and yes you know the rest. I probably should have worn better shoes for an Icey driveway, you are correct. But as I’m sitting on my butt on the cold ground, I look up and there’s a bright spot of sun shining over my house almost as if the sky was laughing at me. This made me laugh. My point is, I could have used this as why me, but instead I laughed it off and went on with my day. It’s the simplest of things in life.
